Black Sabbath is back! Yes, the original line-up of Black Sabbath Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward has reunited for a tour and new studio album. Vocalist Ozzy Osbourne and guitarist Tony Iommi reportedly wrote new material for the record in June of this year.

The Black Sabbath’s original lineup, which also includes bassist Geezer Butler and drummer Bill Ward, previously reunited in the late 1990s with similar plans for a new studio album. However, studio sessions with producer Rick Rubin were halted in favor of Osbourne’s solo album and the band ultimately went on hiatus.

‘‘We’re really looking forward to it and I think the stuff we’ve been writing is really good. It’s more back to the old original stuff.’’ What do you think for news of Black Sabbath? Of course, this a good news for Black Sabbath fans like me.
