Monterey Bay Aquarium has re-opened after months of renovation, shining a light on life in the open ocean. In three different galleries, you can see old favorites like tunas, stingrays, ocean sunfish and green sea turtles—as well as remarkable new species like puffins.

This summer, Monterey Bay Aquarium will stay open until 8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays from July 2 through September 4. In addition to all your favorite exhibits, enjoy live music from Monterey Jazz Festival musicians.

The Monterey Bay Aquarium, acclaimed as one of the world’s finest, has attracted more than 47 million visitors and has won national awards for its exhibits, its architecture, and its cultural, educational and economic impact. Theaquarium is located on historic Cannery Row in Monterey and is open daily except Christmas Day. Hours of operation vary by season.
